The 2021 crop was trimmed by cold, shaken by winds, and locked under a heat dome. It was harvested amongst a global pandemic, and shipped through a supply chain with challenges in every link. It’s hard to put the challenges faced at every level into words, but it does support the maxim of the cherry growers that “the only thing certain about a cherry season is that it will be entirely different than every other year.”
To help us all better understand the 2021 fresh cherry season, the NWCG has compiled the assembled gallery of charts.
